Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Dear Parents,

What a year this has been! I can't believe it's already time to start going back to school. I am happy to finally be able to open registration for this school year!

With that being said, and knowing everything we are going through, please understand that while registration is open things may happen in the coming months to change the current set up of classes and homeschool programs. I hope that we are on a downward trend and will be able to open with our modified class schedule of smaller classes with more times available. We are focusing more on sacramental prep, but we have added some more times for non-prep classes as well and we will revisit the class schedule as more people sign up.

Bear in mind that classes are a first-come, first-served basis. If the class date/time you want is filled you will be given the option to change dates or be given the homeschool program to complete until a class spot opens.

It is the plan, as of right now, that as restrictions lift we will integrate homeschool students back into the classrooms that they had originally wanted. That will only happen if things become better and only if the parent and child want to reenter the classroom. Our homeschool program will be as close to our in-person program as we can make it so that any students who wish to reenter the in-person class or even exit to the homeschool program will be on track with all the other students.

I understand this is a lot. I understand how fluid the situation is and we are trying our hardest to make our Religious Education program as safe, flexible, and effective as we can. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

The forms include:

  • Student Information
  • Parent Information
  • Class Enrollment

Below is a checklist of items to review before you turn in the forms for next year.

If your child has already received the sacraments of Baptism and/or First Communion, a copy of each certificate is required at the time of enrollment.
